Songololo is a double-storey house, which serves as cheap digs for an odd assortment of people of all races. 13 family-friendly 24 minute episodes of the series revolves around the occupants of apartment number four. They are Ashwell and Jermaine Boontjies, two brothers who made a pact 15 years earlier that they would be millionaires by 2013. Now, after the death of their grandfather who had been their sole provider, they need to make a plan quickly just to survive, let alone make their millions. They embark on a series of outrageous money-making schemes, assisted by another tenant, the ever-optimistic conniver, Mthunzi Mabentsela.
