STELLAR AWARD: Kwantu Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, was crowned winner in the Best Luxury Wildlife Resort category at the World Luxury Hotel Awards last week (29 October) in Doha, Qatar.
Kwantu Private Game Reserve – a South African five star game reserve located between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown in South Africa’s malaria-free adventure province of the Eastern Cape – was crowned winner in the Best Luxury Wildlife Resort category at the World Luxury Hotel Awards last week.
The announcement was made at a gala ceremony at the 10th annual World Luxury Hotel Awards hosted at the St. Regis Doha Hotel in Qatar.
Commenting on the award, Kwantu Private Game Reserve CEO Shakir Jeeva said “the reserve is continually evolving its offering in terms of five-star luxury and constantly upping the ante for discerning travellers, while remaining true to its original vision of being a friendly family destination, a home away from home and a leader in African wildlife conservation.”
This year, Kwantu was also listed as finalists in two other major travel and hospitality awards including the SANLAM Top Destination Awards 2016 and The Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards.
