A new website by the Just Property Group launches today to revolutionise how home buyers, renters and investors navigate the property market.
Founded in 2001 as Just Lettings the company has grown to not only dominate the rental market in South Africa; the Just Property Group came to fruitition in 2009 capitalising on the strong Just brand and now offers a complete property offering. Using its insight, experience and national footprint, its new website breaks the mould and gives users a unique experience.
Speaking of the upgrade, Paul Stevens COO of Just Property Groups said: “We could have followed the herd, but that’s not our philosophy. We wanted to create something that improved the property experience whether a renter, investor or home buyer, and allowed us to be their partner through their journey. What we are doing is different, and we may well be criticised, because it isn’t the norm. But consider FNB’s website when it launched and the criticisim it received; today it is the bench mark for banking websites and that’s where we want to be in the property world.”
Users will benefit from a great search filter so you only see the right results for you, and will quickly be able to view a property’s specification and get in touch with the agent without the need to navigate multiple pages. Additional tools include bond and repayment calculators and interest rate information, Team it with the insightful advice sections home owners will find they have a better house hunting experience and first-time buyers will be guided through the processes seamlessly.
The investment comes as the Just Property Group residential division has reported an 80% growth in the number of sales despite the South African housing market slowing after a short-lived recovery from Q4 2012 to Q2 2013.
The franchisees wholly support the changes the Group has created for its web presence and has their operations and properties at the heart of the solution. The approach for the website was mobile led Stevens explains: “In our research we found that a lot of people where accessing from mobiles while in their car. Driving around a neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon with show home boards on display, often potential buyers want a quick overview of the place and specs before viewing.”
The website creation is led by Boomtown, the chosen partner for the Just Property Groups branding. Of the new site for their client Boomtown’s Pierre Dorfling said: “The new website takes you through the purchasing journey, and is a new way of navigating a website and the experience for users is designed to take them through the purchasing process in a knowledgeable and helpful way.
