Seven people have been arrested as the looting and burning of shops belonging to Somalian nationals continues unabated in Port Elizabeth townships.
The situation remains tense but stable after two days of looting and burning shops belonging to Somalian nationals.
It was sparked by the murder of a local man, allegedly by a Somalian national.
This was a brief drive through Johnson Street, an area called ‘Soweto’ – Zwide township in PE. The police were trying to disperse a crowd of people wanting to loot Somalian shops.
