Tuks defeated Chippa United 2-1 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium last week and Barker wants to maintain that winning momentum.
“We had a good away win last week and there would be no better way to crown it than with another win, at home this time, and judging by the preparations we had I can say we are ready for tonight and we are confident of getting maximum points,” Barker says.
Most of the PSL clubs were hit by work permits issues and the change of regulations that forced most teams to play their matches without some of their key players, but Barker says it is a thing of the past as all that has been sorted out now and he will have his full-strength squad.
“We will have our full-strength squad as all work permits have been sorted out and the only player missing is Siya Ngubane who is suspended, but all the players are available for selection,” he adds.
“We did not have a good start at home against Polokwane City and this is our chance to redeem ourselves and build from our away win last week. Winning away matches is very good and it is even sweeter when that is being crowned with winning home matches as well.”
Tuks host Free State Stars at Tuks Stadium tonight at 19h30. Ea La Koto are coming off a good 3-2 win over SuperSport United last week.
