The Community Chest has extended it’s thanks to the public who supported their intersection collection on Friday, 30th June.
Community Chest volunteers, Caltex Eastern Cape PE team together with volunteers from Atlas Security and members from Round Table PE West 142 bravely bore the cold during the chilly morning hours from 06:00 – 08:00 at the following intersections: William Moffett/Cape Road, M4/Walmer Boulevard and Stanford Road/Aubrey Street.
“Every year I’m touched to see how united the people of the friendly city are in supporting this campaign”, says Community Chest EC PRO, Colette Theron.
If you miss out on the intersection collection you can continue supporting this campaign by dropping of your donations at your nearest Caltex Service Station or phone Community Chest offices on 041 5821592 to collect.
The Community Chest is still expecting very cold weather conditions and would like to bring warmth to those in need.
