Shoprite & Checkers again giving away 150 vehicles in SA’s biggest EVER ‘win a car’ competition

9 November 2017 By MyPortElizabeth

This festive season Shoprite and Checkers will again be giving away 150 brand new VW up! cars. A minimum of three customers will win a car every day between Monday 6 November and Sunday 24 December in South Africa’s biggest car giveaway.

To enter, just spend R100 or more at any Shoprite or Checkers supermarket or buy any of the 56 participating brands. These products can be found in the clearly marked “Win a Car” displays at the end of the shopping aisles in stores. For example, a customer who spends R100 and buys Pampers nappies and Sasko bread will receive three competition entries – one for the R100 spent and two additional entries for purchasing participating products.

“We’ll always be guided by what our customers want, and they just loved last year’s Win a Car competition,” explains Neil Schreuder, Marketing Director for Shoprite and Checkers. “So we pulled out all the stops in order to host South Africa’s biggest car giveaway for the second year running. In addition to offering the very best products at the most affordable prices, this is our way of thanking our customers for their unwavering support in 2017.”

Qualifying customers will receive a printed competition till slip at the check-out counter and simply need to follow the instructions on this slip in order to enter via USSD code or sms.

There is no limit on how many times customers may enter the competition between 6 November and Sunday 24 December. Entries are valid for the duration of the competition.

Winners will be drawn and contacted on a daily basis. Terms and conditions apply. For more information, please visit checkers.co.za or shoprite.co.za.
