Besides the children whose hearts get broken by this insensitive rejection, the family of that child is most affected. The family has to find answers to questions that cut deep. I for one am shattered when my niece asks, ‘Why doesn’t daddy love me?’ This question does not hurt him…it hurts the people raising the child.”
Mazwai put up the post a day before a Drum Magazine issue was released on Thursday where Seate and his wife and kids were the cover story. Thandiswa’s daughter with Seate was not part of the photoshoot for the article entitled: A Family Christmas.
Mazwai added in the post: “I was made a parent at 20. I was excited to be an aunt but I never expected that I would have to play daddy. It is not ok with me when I see a man ignore his child while he pretends to be a family man”.
Reacting to Mazwai’s words Seate said in a series of tweets; “Bulls**t when your short comings are a sideshow. Who is focussed on their human condition. Is it really in her interest to put it out here? How bad of a father am I? We know absent fathers! Motherf**kers who died while we still loved them! That’s why #BongoMaffin will NEVER COME BACK!”
In his tirade he also took on Thandiswa who had tweeted about the wives of absent fathers almost a week earlier.
She said: So ur man ignores the children he had before he married u and you think that makes him man enough for you? U know what? He could treat your better but he is a loser if he can’t do it for his other kids..and u lose anyway.” (sic)
She added: “Guys….how do u live with yourselves when you ignore ur children? not talking to u with babymama drama…talking to u who ignores ur kid.”
Seate tweeted that his wife was also irate.
“My Wife feenin to literally kill these loud hoes!” he wrote as he continued to swear at both Mazwai sisters.
Tweeters were mostly worried about his comment on the legendary group not reuiniting.
