News making its way to the Siya crew is that Chippa United are after the services of Polokwane City Physical Trainer, Eduardo Schoeler.
The crew is informed that the PSL returnees have tried to talk to the trainer but it seems the trainer is still keen on working with Rise and Shine.
The Brazilian-born trainer was also in charge of the bench after the departure of Duncan Lechesa and he later resumed his duties as a trainer when Boebie Solomons was appointed as coach.
Despite the confirmed interest in the trainer from Soccer Laduma sources, Chilli Boys CEO, Peter Kotroulis, poured cold water on the speculation.
“Where did you get that? We don’t know that and I can tell you we’ve got a local trainer who’s doing a great job for us. We’ve not tried to talk to him. Our technical trainer is doing great for us. We talk to anyone in football but we don’t always talk about employing or signing everyone we talk to,” said Kotroulis.
The club recently announced that they’ll be moving to Port Elizabeth, they’ll play their PSL games for the next season at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium and it seems there will be new developments in their technical department.
The crew will keep you posted.
