Day Tripping: On Saturday 24 September, a Heritage Day High Tea, in support of Nal’ibali will be held at Radisson Blu Hotel. Here, you can enjoy tasty treats and great coffee from Mastertons Coffee. There will also be entertainment in the form of music and dance.

Expo yourself: Visit the ‘Share the bay through your lens‘ photography exhibition during the month of September, in celebration of Tourism month, and experience Nelson Mandela Bay through the photography of local artists. This would be an ideal tour for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The exhibitions on 30 September.

Couples karma: Join in at the Annual Cape Recife Spring Fest, which is a unique outdoor festival comprising of the Cobbles Classic, the Penguin Plod, which is a fun walk organised by SAMREC to raise funds for their penguin rehabilitation centre, the Cape Recife Artisan Market, the Cape Recife Indigenous Plant Sale and the Cape Recife Trail run. This is a 3 day event from Friday 23 September until Sunday 25 September.

Wine and dine: Enjoy some fine-dining at Ginger restaurant in PE, offering food inspired by the Mediterranean with a touch of modern seafood and steak. The atmosphere is very contemporary and cool. This is a good restaurant for friends and family to enjoy this weekend.
