On 23 August we published an article about three kittens that had been sealed in two plastic bags and placed out on a verge in Bluewater Bay for collection and disposal – Dumping Kittens in a sealed Rubbish Bag on the verge is a No No.
They have since been fostered by Saskia who has done a fine job with the little bundles of joy.
Of course my two Longhairs couldn’t resist the temptation to assume the position of proud Mom to a Ginger so we finally took delivery of Feisty Fred a week ago.
Acclimatising the little bugger to the house and cats is an ongoing joy with the male cat pretty indifferent, the racing pig asleep, the female cats hissy and the German Sheperd enthralled (all through the windows).
On Saturday we introduced Fred to some long grass and he was quite taken with this new huge litterbox. After dumping a bit of weight he proceeded to attack the grass and work on his hunting skills.
To the heartless miscreant that tossed Fred and siblings out for the rubbish we can only say; “You missed out on a special piece of joyous fluff – be jealous and say 5000 Our Fathers, 6 Million Hail Mary’s and 2000 Acts of Contrition!”
