Pt. Elizabeth church marks 227 years
MAURICE RIVER – Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 142 Port Elizabeth-Cumberland Road, will celebrate its 227th anniversary on Old Home Day, June 3.
Coffee will be served at 9:45 a.m., services will be held at 11 and a musical program, featuring Sherry and Bruce Townsend and Jack Anderson, will begin at 2 p.m.
All Saints Parish plans Phillies trip
MILLVILLE – The Youth and Young Adult Ministry of Parish of All Saints will sponsor a bus trip, “Family Nite at the Phillies,” on Aug. 8.
The cost is $35, which includes the bus trip and admission to the Phillies vs. Braves game, a two-hour tailgate party at St. John Bosco Church, tolls, parking and gratuities.

Pentecostal Sunday at Touch of Faith
VINELAND – Touch of Faith Family Life Center will celebrate Pentecostal Sunday at 5 p.m. Sunday. Bishop Evelyene Davis and the congregation of Grace Cathedral Worship Center will join the service.

Pastor anniversary celebrated tonight
BRIDGETON – Tabernacle of God’s Redeeming Love will host the first pastoral anniversary of Pastor Margaret Denise Jones tonight, Saturday and Sunday.
The anniversary program will be held at 7 tonight with Pastor Allen Simmons.
Services will continue Saturday, at noon with Pastor Deanna Birts and at 2 p.m. with Dr. Celeste Washington. The celebration will conclude at 4 p.m. Sunday with Apostle Terrance Walker.
All services will be conducted at Greater St. Augustine AME Church, 410 N. Pearl St.
Prayer Band lunch planned at St. Paul’s
VINELAND – St. Paul’s Baptist Church, 138 W. Wood St., will host its annual Prayer Band luncheon at 11 a.m. June 23. Pastor James Goolsby of New Hope Baptist Church, Cedarville, will be the guest preacher. A freewill offering will be taken.
Also, St. Paul’s announces its schedule:
• Church school at 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by continental breakfast. Morning worship services at 10.
