The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber is very pleased to welcome Prince Mpumelelo Matonsi as the new Operations Manager to the organisation.
Matonsi will provide great support to Chief Executive Kevin Hustler and underpin efforts to deliver on the Board’s vision through the management of the membership, events and task team departments.
Matonsi has completed an MBA from the University of Bradford in England as well as a Bachelors Degree of Business Studies from the University of Zimbabwe.
He has vast experience in the NPO sector and joins the Business Chamber from Beyond Zero, where he worked as operations manager for the past three years. He also worked for New Love Life as regional manager and programme manager, as well as the President’s Award where he was a programme manager. Before joining the NPO space, he worked as a lecturer at Rhodes University specialising in Production/ Operations Management. He also held various positions in the business world, including being Head: Group Treasury Banking for Edcon.
“This is a very critical appointment for the Business Chamber and we believe that his extensive experience in operations and project management will enable the Business Chamber to focus on the meaningful development of the catalytic projects in the region. We are certainly looking forward to the immense value that Prince is going to add to the organisation”, said Hustler.
