KickOff.com can confirm that SABC will broadcast live the CAF Champions League match between Orlando Pirates and Angolan side CRD Libolo on Sunday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The public broadcaster opted to show the match between Free State Stars and AmaZulu on Saturday, while Black Leopards were playing Motor Action of Zimbabwe in the CAF Confederations Cup at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, and that triggered questions about the Pirates match on Sunday.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago has allayed any fears that that Pirates’ CAF match may also not be on TV by confirming that the match will be live on SABC 1 on Sunday.
“We are showing the Pirates match live,” Kganyago confirms.
Kick off for the match will be 15:00.
