Parsons Hill Perlemoen
Whilst on a walk past the top of Parsons Hill Primary towards the Lawson Brown soccer fields we came across this bag of freshly dumped perlemoen (abalone) shells. A significant find in light of the SAPS dive unit, not two days before, having dived shucked bags of perlemoen out of the North End Lake. Makes one wonder if there is a processing factory somewhere between the two points?
