Since forming in 2012, the Eastern Cape chapter of the Performing Arts Network of South Africa has made great contributions to help performing arts in our community survive and thrive.
In 2014, PANSA EC, in an effort to further realise one of their main objectives which is to make the Eastern Cape a viable place for young people to pursue a career in the performing arts in, hosted their first ever Youth theatre Project (YTP). The educational focus has continued in 2015 with workshops for local artists from all disciplines which covered fundraising and licensing.
PANSA EC now turns their attention to their 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place at the Athenaeum Building in Central on Saturday 22nd August from 14h30.
Anybody who is enthusiastic about the performing arts and the development of opportunities for artists in our metro is encouraged to attend.
There will also be an opportunity at the meeting for members of the public to sign up as a PANSA member. Current benefits that paid up PANSA members can enjoy include the right to use the PANSA logo on their business/organisation letterheads, access to PANSA resources and a vote at PANSA AGMs. PANSA Eastern Cape is excited to make more great benefits available to members as their organisation grows in the Eastern Cape and is in the process of finalising equity rights that paid up members will have privilege to.
PANSA EC hopes to enjoy the pleasure of your company at their AGM to help make a difference and keep the arts alive and thriving in our community.
