News Café at The Boardwalk won two prestigious awards in the national awards programme by the well recognised local and international brand News Café. News Café at The Boardwalk has scooped two prestigious awards in national awards programme by the well recognised local and international brand News Cafe. Coming up trumps against other outlets across the country and outside South Africa’s borders, News Café at The Boardwalk won the award for Best Front of House while co-owner Sandy Zoetmulder was named Brand Builder of the Year for 2015 at a ceremony held at Katy’s Place in Rosebank, Gauteng by the Fournews Development Group – which owns the international News Café Brand.
The group previously recognised Zoetmulder as the 2010 Brand Builder of the Year award and the 2012 and 2014 Marketer of the Year.
“2015 was a great year for our restaurant, with us being nominated for awards in four categories. We are so excited to have won two of those categories as we are up against extremely large and successfully international and Gauteng based News Café franchises.

News Café is situated at The Boardwalk’s retail area and has been in operation since 2002, serving breakfasts, lunches, dinners and world class cocktails. News Café is open daily from 09h00 until late.
