The Municipality is working around the clock to restore water supply in the New Brighton area and surrounds.
Portfolio Chairperson for Infrastructure, Engineering, Electricity and Energy Andile Mfunda said the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is working around the clock to restore water supply in the New Brighton area and surrounds after supply problems reared its head yesterday, Tuesday, 30 September.
“We sent a team out yesterday afternoon to work on the restoration of supply and a problem with the level of the reservoir supplying water to the area was identified as a concern. Our team will now search for other underlying problems today and work hard to restore supply.
“We would like to apologize for the unforeseen supply problems and will do our utmost best to restore supply as soon as possible,” Mfunda said.
