Mango’s capacity increased by over 30 weekly flights when it introduced two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet.
The fleet additions will also sport the first set of new-look, environmentally friendlier seats on board.
The airline is to commence scheduled services between Johannesburg and George, starting November 18. The flights opened for booking on August 19.
The flights will operate from Fridays, Sundays and Mondays with an initial frequency of one flight a day in each direction.
Mango CEO Nico Bezuidenhout said the route between Johannesburg and George were designed particularly with the leisure market in mind.
Mango launched two routes in early December last year – between Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
