Port Elizabeth – A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing a 16-year-old boy, Eastern Cape police said on Tuesday.
The man, 21, was expected to appear in the Kwaaiman Periodical Court on Thursday, said Major Zamukulungisa Jozana.
The boy was stabbed to death at Thwalimofu in Kwaaiman.
He was last seen at a tavern drinking with friends on Friday around 7pm, said Jozana.

He allegedly stabbed her on Thursday around 9pm while she was at home with her husband.

Police believe the woman was killed over an assault linked to the 22-year-old.
He was expected to appear in the Elliotdale Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Nearby, an 18-year-old man was shot and stabbed to death in Tshutsha in Elliotdale on Wednesday around 8pm, said Jozana.

“They then shot the deceased twice (while) stabbing him to death several times with sharp instruments.”
Police recovered a knife at the scene and have opened a case of murder.
