A Memorial and Celebration of the Life of Lois Norwood Lambe will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Port Elizabeth Fire Hall from 4 to 7 p.m. The fire hall is located on Route 47, across from the the Port Elizabeth Post Office.
Lois died peacefully at home on Jan. 15, after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born in Del-Rio, Tenn., but resided in the Cumberland County area for more than 40 years. She is survived by her son, Neal Lambe of Leesburg; her daughter, Celeste Lambe of Tucson, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Rebecca and Briana Lambe of Leesburg; several siblings; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Most recently, Lois was a certified hospice worker, working for Cumberland County Home Health Aides in Millville. She also may be remembered for her work with the Shirley Eves Center, and previously working at the Vineland Developmental Center.
Lois loved children, reading her books and gardening. Always a lady, softspoken, sweet and caring, she is still very much loved and will be greatly missed. Please come join her family as we celebrate her life.
