The Coega Development Corporation (CDC) announced that investor GDF Suez, operator of the DEDISA Power Peaking plant, in the Coega Industrial Development Zone (IDZ) has begun recruitment of skilled and specialist human resources.
CDC, which has been appointed to manage the recruitment and placement of professional skills via Human Capital Solutions (HCS) announced that vacancies are now open for operations and facility management, mechanical and electrical engineering and administrative positions.
“The positions aims to attract and attain professional skills that is vital to contribute to the growth of the economy and increase skills transfer,” said Dr Ayanda Vilakazi, CDC head of marketing and communications.
“CDC has been tasked by the plant to assist with recruitment and placement of workers,” said Duncan Grenfell, CDC unit head for recruitment and placement.
“We encourage interested parties with qualifications and experience in operations management, mechanical and electrical engineering and administrative disciplines to contact email@example.com. The deadline for applications is this Friday, 27 February 2015 at 16:00,” Grenfell said.
CDC in conjunction with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality uses latest technological developments to recruit labour through the Gateway2Opportunity (G20).
