THE 2017 Port Elizabeth Homemakers Expo will take place this year from June 22 to 25 at The Boardwalk Exhibition Centre to celebrate your home with the theme “A Tribute to Your Home.
The show will feature top-notch exhibitors showcasing an array of beautiful products and professional service, all under one roof.
The Port Elizabeth Homemakers Expo will also be packed with specials, deals, competitions and features that cannot be found elsewhere.
In addition to hand-picked collections of on-trend interiors, bespoke décor from designers and fabric houses and soft furnishings for home, the expo will also feature PE’s very own graffiti artist, Joff, who will turn a bare wall into a local Port Elizabeth brag wall.
Folks will get that chance to see him actively bring his art to life during the show.
Graffiti is an up-and-coming art genre that combats inner city decay.
Another artist who will be at the expo is master fine art photographer, Marlene Neumann, who will be displaying her work in Port Elizabeth for the first time.
“It’s my first homemakers show in PE and I’m excited to meet the people of Port Elizabeth and looking forward to sharing my work with them, she said.
The expo will also see NMMU’s third year design students showcasing their enjoyable and communicative display inspired by the idealistic image of a child’s depiction of what a house looks like.
The students also designed an interactive facade on the house structure that poses the question, “What makes your house a home?
In the SCASA challenge, Port Elizabeth’s talented baristas will face the steam to see who will represent the Eastern Cape at the SCASA National Barista Championships to be held in Johannesburg.
Additional offerings will include the food market and H and T Furniture by Design and Providence Interiors joining forces on stage to showcase the latest paint trends and designs on furniture.
The Port Elizabeth Homemakers Expo will take place from June 22 to 25 at The Boardwalk Exhibition Centre.
It will be open from 10am to 8pm on June 22 and 23, from 9am to 8pm on June 24 and from 9am to 5pm on June 25.
