For the Blitzbokke this weekend is an opportunity to continue their challenge for overall series honours but they’ll have to contend with the juggernaut that is the New Zealand Sevens side.
Having captured the South African leg in Port Elizabeth in December, coach Neil Powell’s side have been priced up as second favourites at 33/10 to claim victory in Las Vegas while the Kiwis, who lead the overall standings by two points after three legs, are at 7/4.
The next best-priced side is Fiji at 9/2 before the prices start getting considerably longer with 8/1 England, 12/1 Samoa, 16/1 Kenya and 25/1 Australia.
This weekend sees the resumption of the FA Cup as the journey to Wembley in May continues with a host of fourth-round fixtures.
Arsenal kick off the action when they host Coventry City tonight and as far as the betting is concerned it’s one-way traffic with even money on the Gunners’ chances. The visitors are at 17/1.
In the only other fixture tonight, Preston North End are 4/1 for their trip to the City Ground to take on 7/10 Nottingham Forest.
The bulk of the fixtures take place tomorrow with 4/10 Liverpool travelling to 7/1 Bournemouth while Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic are relatively evenly-priced at 27/20 and 21/20 respectively for their encounter at DW Stadium.
Manchester City are the proverbial penalty kick at 1/14 for their clash against 26/1 Watford while Premier League outfit Swansea City are evens for their game at 28/10 Birmingham City.
Bolton Wanderers and Cardiff City are close in the markets for their clash with the home side at 16/10 and the Welsh outfit at 17/10. The draw after 90 minutes has been priced up at 9/4.
Everton are heavy favourites at 2/7 for their trip to 95/10 Stevenage while Hull City have been quoted at 15/20 when they take on 7/2 Southend United.
In the remaining fixtures, Fulham travel to Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United and the bookies have priced the Cottagers at 7/4 while the hosts are 31/20 and the 90 minute draw at 9/4.
Chelsea meanwhile are as short as 1/5 when they host 11/1 Stoke City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
