Popular SAMA-winning instrumental pop group Sterling EQ will be back in Port Elizabeth this August with a high-energy mix of old favourites and new hits.
Known for changing the face of instrumental music in South Africa, the glamorous quartet can be seen live in The Boardwalk Vodacom Amphitheatre on August 31 from eight in the evening.
The energetic quartet includes former marathon swimmer Carina Bruwer, Port Elizabeth born actress-musician Ariella Caira and award-winning violinists Eriel Huang, and Renate Riedemann.
The all-woman quartet is releasing a third studio album, “PULSE” this August.
It fuses musical styles as diverse as Classical, Kwaito, Pop, Rock and World into the group’s own distinctive and contemporary sound.
On stage, the sound is complemented by their energetic, visually arresting performance.
Sterling EQ is a proudly South African Act with a huge international appeal.
They have more than 17,500 fans on Facebook, with their YouTube channel being the nineteenth most subscribed South Africa music channel.
