Port Elizabeth, 8 May 2015 – A capacity crowd is expected at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, 9 May when Chippa United take on Kaizer Chiefs in their final game of the season.
Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium operator CEO, Chantal du Pisani, said tickets are still selling fast.
“There has been a massive increase in ticket sales this week and we would like to encourage those who have not yet done so, to purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.” said Du Pisani
She added: “It is anticipated that tickets will be sold out by the end of today and fans who are not in possession of a ticket are advised not come to the stadium on match day.”
The public are urged to come early to ensure that they are in the stadium before kick-off at 3pm. “We advise the public to arrive at the stadium as early as possible. Traffic will be congested due to partial road closures and limited routes,” she added
In order to ensure that spectators are able to access the stadium early, the gates will open at 12h00.
