During Question and Answer time at Tuesday morning’s PetroSA/NMBBC breakfast a young lady stood up and proceeded to ramble on about her business organisation (a rival to the NMBBC) under the pretext of supporting the lobbying for the siting of the Mthombo Refinery in Coega.
The she went on to demand that the uniforms for Eastern Cape Traffic Officials be sourced in the Eastern Cape and not the Western Cape.
It is a mystery to me quite what this young lady expected to achieve above the sniggers and derision from most tables.
You only succeeded in making yourself and your organisation look like half wits my dear.
A lesson in etiquette: When questions are called for from the floor ask a question that will CONTRIBUTE to the discourse, do not assume that it is a sales platform for your cause, business organisation or products.
Kudos to the MC, Kevin Hustler, for not calling on security to hustle the rambler out of the venue.
