“The beach days are about fun, sun, family and the surf.” said Vangie Boettger the Girls Marketing Manager for Billabong Girls. We are encouraging girls of all ages, with their families to come down and enjoy the day with us. There will be music, giveaways, surfing, yoga and so much more. Through the Billabong Girls Get out there campaign we are promoting healthy, outdoor living and literally encouraging girls of all ages to get out there and start living and what better place than at the beach in summer!” said Vangie
There is also a strong message of caring for the environment behind this campaign and girls have been encouraged to communicate with Billabong through facebook to submit their greening ideas about the environment in which they live. With some 300 entrants, 20 girlshave been chosen to represent the Billabong brand on the tour and their greening ideas will be implemented on the beaches which are visited. Recycled items will also be collected as part of a clean up and used in the creativity corner.
Girls of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy these free beach days with Billabong where they will embrace the outdoors, get back into the water and learn to love a healthy lifestyle.
