KickOff.com can reveal that former Orlando Pirates players Sifiso Myeni and William Twala are training with Chippa United.

Myeni has been without a club this season after he parted ways with Bidvest Wits at the end of last season, while Twala parted ways with Free State Stars in the first half of the season after struggling to break into the team.

According  to a source close to the Chilli Boys, the club is expected to make three more signings before transfer deadline on January 31.

“Both Myeni and Twala are here,” said the source at Chippa.
“They club is yet to make a decision if they will sign both of them or not,” he added.

Chippa recently signed Gladwin Shitolo from on loan from Pirates, while Bangaly Keita and Donashamo Malama have been brought in as well. Chippa, currently sitting in 15th place on the Absa Premiership, are determined to avoid the axe and coach new coach Clinton Larsen is trying to build a strong team that will fight its way out of trouble in the second half of the campaign.

The Chilli Boys take on Maritzburg United at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday (15h30).
