It has been a long road since Mantis won the caretaker contract for this Eastern Cape landmark in March 2018.
The team hit the ground running and reopened the Pro Shop and the Gary Player-designed golf course and offered the most affordable green fees in the Eastern Cape.
Given that the team on the ground is smaller than before, general manager Ashley Palm decided to reopen only 20 self-catering units in April, enabling his dedicated team to offer a fantastic hospitality experience.
Once all the rooms had received a deep clean, Fish River Resort opened its doors to holidaymakers from all over the country. The Fish River experience is made complete by the Pro Shop, Kontiki Bar Lounge, children’s playroom, and the Wahoo Restaurant where guests enjoy a hearty breakfast every morning.
The much-loved putt-putt course was completely redone in August and reopened for all to enjoy. On Friday 14th December, The Body and Skin Clinic reopened to offer hotel guests and day visitors a range of beauty treatments and massages. The Body and Skin Clinic at Fish River Resort is run by Charmaine Hoffman.
Mantis has gone all out to make the Fish River Resort experience a festive and memorable one this summer. In addition to the nature trails, fishing on the beach, a large swimming pool and playground, hotel guests will also be treated to an exciting Festive Season programme that includes magic shows, music trivia, treasure hunts, and a New Year’s Eve dinner and dance.
Festive Season at Fish River Resort promises to be a memorable one for the entire family.
