I received copies of 2 e-mails from a ratepayer (named C) who sent an e-mail query to the Municipal Customer Care address. According to C, as a result of the Municipality not answering his query within the stated TEN working days it is now prejudicing his need to query his rateable value and he would like to know if he has a case to argue as such.
Now, I can personally vouch for C (Ja Kupido , I know that doesn’t mean much!) as one of those people who crosses t’s and dots i’s – the description for such a person begins with an A and ends with an L so I do not doubt that he has scoured his inbox for a reply and found the Municipality uncaring for their lack thereof.
See the e-mails below:

According to the website every property owner should have received correspondence pertaining to the valuation of their property. Could you please send me this information via email or advise me how to go about obtaining this information as soon as possible.
Thank you and regards
