The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Northern Areas of PE has continued with their excellent work of spring cleaning its wards severely neglected by the municipality. Recent successful clean-ups of wards 12, 37 and 38 were met with much delight from community members.
Spearheaded by DA constituency leader for the Northern Areas, Edmund van Vuuren MPL, and ward councillor, Sandra Fillis, the DA embarked on ward 32 for its spring clean this morning.
This clean-up initiative in the Northern Areas highlights the horrendous service delivery metered out by the municipality. A government who cares will never allow its citizens to live in terribly unhygienic conditions and treat members of these communities with such disdain.
The DA appeals to residents from these wards to join in this clean up initiative and also to refrain from perpetual dumping of refuse within these communities.
The DA will continue with this clean-up campaign until the beauty of the Northern Areas has been restored to its original state.
