Chippa United will open a club store at The Sun Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth on Friday in a joint venture with technical sponsors Canterbury.
The squad will attend the launch, starting at 15h00.
Chippa boss Siviwe Mpengesi has expressed gratitude to Canterbury for their support since going into partnership in July last year.
Mpengesi said: “This is again a fantastic milestone for a growing brand like Chippa United, and we would like to thank our partners, Canterbury for being true to their word. Our supporters have been longing for an opportunity to walk into a shop and buy the club’s merchandise.
“We thank The Boardwalk for their generosity, in giving us space. We are extremely proud of this latest initiative between ourselves and Canterbury.
“Our ambition as Chippa United Football Club is to be one of the most recognisable football brands in South Africa and beyond. We are certain that our relationship with Canterbury will help to strengthen this cause, and of course strengthen our ties going forward.
“It is a new path for us as a football club and before the end of the season we will meet with all the partners involved to review the progress.”
