Chippa United have signed Manti Moholo, William Twala, Joseph Molangoane, Bheki Nzunga and Siyabonga Zulu from Orlando Pirates in preparation for the 2014/15 season.
The Chilli Boys have been strengthening Kosta Papic’s squad in all departments in anticipation of the team’s first season back in the PSL.
Moholo and Twala spent the second half of the 2013/14 season on loan at Golden Arrows, while Malongoane, Nzunga and Zulu have been struggling for game time at Bucs.
Chippa boss, Siviwe ‘Chippa’ Mpengesi confirmed to the Siya crew that the five players have been signed by the club.
“Moholo and Zulu are on one-year loan deals with options to sign them. The other players have been signed (permanently) on three-year deals,” said Mpengesi.
Chippa are already in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape, following their relocation from Cape Town.
The Chilli Boys will be welcoming Kaizer Chiefs at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in a pre-season friendly for their first game in the Friendly City since relocating from the Mother City.
