News reaching the Siya crew is that Kaizer Chiefs’ new signing Joseph Molangoane could be likely to come across his former employers from Chippa United in Port Elizabeth this weekend, as the Amakhosi will be in the Eastern Cape for their upcoming Absa Premiership game.
The Chilli Boys are scheduled to host Chiefs at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday. Sources close to both Chippa and Chiefs have confirmed to the Siya crew that Molangoane is likely to be with coach Steve Komphela’s side in PE.
As reported by the Siya crew on Friday morning, Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Molangoane on a deal running until 2019.
While Chippa Mpengesi, the chairman of the Port Elizabeth outfit, has confirmed to Soccer Laduma that his club is intending to appeal the PSL DRC decision about Molangoane, the player is likely to be seen in the corridors at the home of Chippa (Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium) for the first time since leaving the club at the end of last season.
Chippa booted Molangoane out of their camp a few hours before the game against Chiefs at the end of last season, when the club found out that he intended leaving them for Naturena.
Although it remains unclear at this stage if Molangoane will be available to play for Chiefs against Chippa, indications are that he is likely to be with the team in PE.
