Local cyclist Ian Moore is hard in training to cycle Many Miles for Smiles in the Trans Baviaans 24hr mountain bike marathon to raise funds for the Lake Farm Centre.
The Trans Baviaans 24hr mountain bike marathon is a single stage race of 230km from Willowmore in the heart of the Eastern Cape outisde Port Elizabeth through the world heritage site and remote Baviaans Kloof to finish in Jeffreys Bay the surfing capital of South Africa on the 12th August 2017.

The LFC is a non-profit organization which has been involved in the care and training of the intellectually and physically challenged since 1959. However, increasing operational costs has put a strain on financial resources in recent years and the LFC is therefore truly grateful for the support from the Business Sector and the General Public to keep the Centre functioning.
