PORT ELIZABETH – EFF MP, Yoliswa Yako has accused the ANC of institutionalising corruption.
Yako was speaking at eNCA Town Hall debate in Port Elizabeth held on Thursday, 11 April 2019.
She said the governing party is to blame for poverty and high unemployment.
“As we speak now, we sitting with debt, poverty, lack of jobs because of the institutional culture of the ANC which is too loot,” .
Replying to Yako’s accusation, the ANC promised to root out corruption in government.
Eastern Cape ANC’s Thabo Matiwane said party officials who are implicated in corruption will face disciplinary action.
He said the ANC has the ability to self-correct and renew itself.
