In recent weeks, the private emergency services and tow truck companies have come under fire from the public, social media and newspapers for bad driving and disregarding road signs and laws.
On Wednesday morning 13 August 2014, we set up a camera at a problematic point in the Cotswold area that the Traffic Department has been informed about and officials visited on Monday 11 August 2014.
At this point in Cotswold vehicles blatantly ignore road signs and cross solid islands to take ‘short cuts’.
In a period of less than 20 minutes our photographer lost count of how many vehicles were breaking the law.
Are members of the public, who do not have branded vehicles exempted from the National Traffic Act, or are branded vehicles just easier targets?
